Bachelor in Computer Application

The BCA degree is an academic degree that requires 3 years. This course provides a sound academic base from which an advanced career in Computer Application can be developed. On completion of this course the student can take admission into the Lateral MCA program or start their career in IT organizations

B.Sc (Computer Science)

The B.Sc (CS) course is designed to prepare students for graduate training in areas of computer science. The course also serves as a platform to introduce the fundamental concepts of Computer Science to the students who are interested in pursuing a Masters level Computer Science course.
On successful completion of B.Sc (CS),the students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving techniques, knowledge of programming and software engineering principles, work as a software personnel in IT organizations and pursue a Masters level program in Computer Science / Computer
Applications.

Lateral Entry
MCA

Lateral Entry MCA is a two year (four semester) course approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The students who have completed BCA or B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) can join this course and complete their MCA in two years. The selection is based on the performance in the qualifying exam and written test.

Master in Computer Application

MCA is a three year (six semester) course approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The selection is based on performance in the qualifying exam and written test . While an MCA degree opens doors for a good career, it may be necessary for those aspiring to move onto the fast track, to supplement their knowledge with the latest programming languages.

M.Sc (Computer Science)

The M.Sc (CS) course is designed to give a platform for the graduate students to enhance their knowledge in various disciplines of Computer Science. The course introduces advance level concepts and prepares the students for employment in the IT sector as well as pursuing research. On successful completion of this course, the students will be able to develop a high level understanding
of the computer systems as a whole, demonstrate proficiency in programming paradigms, apply knowledge of Software Engineering to design and implement real world problems, work as a software engineer / consultant in IT companies and pursue research in the relevant areas of interest

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admission to the Lateral Entry MCA (2 Years), Regular MCA (3 Years), BCA (3 Years), B.Sc (Computer Science) and M.Sc (Computer Science) is done through the all India Entrance Examination (KIITEE) conducted by KIIT.
