Jayant Kumar Rout

Dr. Jayant Kumar Rout is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Application, KIIT-DU Bhubaneswar. He is a distinguished academician with a robust educational background and a wealth of experience in the field of teaching and research. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from KIIT, Bhubaneswar, in 2003, and his M.Tech. from the Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, IIT Guwahati, in 2011. He completed his Ph.D. from the Dept. of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT, Patna, in 2023.
With an impressive 19 years of teaching experience at UG and PG levels, Dr. Jayant has demonstrated his expertise in the classroom and beyond. His research focuses on cutting-edge areas such as Speech Signal Processing, Keyword Spotting, Automatic Speech Recognition, and Machine Learning. His contributions to these fields are evidenced by his research publications in esteemed conferences and journals, including IET Signal Processing; Speech Signal Processing, Elsevier; Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing Springer, etc.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jayant has been committed to advancing the frontiers of knowledge and nurturing the next generation of scholars. His dedication to excellence in both teaching and research has earned him widespread recognition and respect within the academic community.
