KIIT University celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026, continuing its tradition of observing the occasion with great enthusiasm and national pride. The event featured a vibrant student parade, reviewed by the Founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, and included cultural programs, creative project exhibitions, and felicitation of outstanding staff and students. This year, Sri Lankan Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa attended the Republic Day celebration as the Chief Guest. The student team of School of Computer Application performs parade on this event at Dutee Chand Athletics Stadium. The parade team consists of students from all courses like BSc, BCA, MSc and MCA. The commander of the school parade team is Randeep Behera having roll number 2570148 from MCA.
