Hemant Kumar Apat is working as Assistant Professor (I) in the School of Computer Application, KIIT Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar. He has completed his Master in Computer Application (MCA) and M.Tech from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has an experience of 7 years in industry / teaching at UG and PG level. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. His research interests distributed computing system includes Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Fog Computing, Bioinformatics, and Optimization. He is currently working on optimization strategies in Fog computing and Cloud Computing. He has published his work on various International conference and reputed journal including four book chapters in his domain. He is a member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and IEEE.
